dictionary recursion

start with a random word, take its definition, look up every word in its definition
for every word in their definitions, look up every word in its definition, etc.
only stop a branch when you come to a loop.
the purpose is to
a) find out if there are any isolated sets of words in the dictionary, or maybe how many degrees of separation it takes before all words are included, and how many islands there are for each degree short of that.
b) determine the shortest definitional loop(s) in the dictionary, and the longest one(s).
